Sea polyphenols are different from polyphenols that are found in terrestrial plants (for example resveratrol, flavonoids and Gingko biloba extracts). Terrestrial and marine polyphenols belong to the same family of substances, but their chemical structures and characteristics are different, such that sea polyphenols have unique effects and potency.
